Nathon Kong Exhibits at MBAM with Thierry Mugler | Montreal Couture
In 2019, Nathon Kong had the incredible opportunity to participate in a Montreal Couture exhibition organized by the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts.

The exhibit was curated by the world-renown designer Thierry Mugler in conjunction with the Thierry Mugler: Couturissime exhibit, which highlights Thierry Mugler's career and the beautiful creations he's made over the decades.
Nathon Kong was incredibly grateful to be one of the top 10 Montreal creators selected to present their work as an example of Montreal couture.
Who is Thierry Mugler?

Thierry Mugler's fashion shows have been some of the most magnificent of the century. His costume designs are sexy and creative, often combining elements of high fashion with science fiction and fantasy. It is no wonder that he has designed costumes for prominent productions, such as the Comédie-Française's Shakespeare productions and Cirque du Soleil's Zumanity. He has also designed outfits for some of the greatest and most extraordinary celebrities of our time, including David Bowie, Diana Ross, and Beyoncé, as well as prominent Québec personalities like Céline Dion.
Thierry Mugler has also excelled in photography and film direction. In 1990, he worked with the British singer George Michael to create the now iconic video Too Funky.
