Wear This to Your Wedding Suit Fitting
Have an appointment with a fashion designer to measure yourself for a bespoke suit? Or maybe your suit is ready and you're coming to try it on before your wedding day? Do you know what you should wear for the fitting?
Everything you need when you go to a men's custom suit fitting.
Whatever your situation is, Nathon Kong has walked many clients through the process of designing and creating a bespoke suit that is unique to them. A wedding suit fitting should be free of stress, and there is very little you have to worry about. Here are a few pointers that can make designing and fitting a wedding suit easier.
Measuring for a Custom-Made Suit
If you are coming in to take measurements for a custom wedding suit, there is no requirement for what you need to wear. If you already have a men's suit or jacket that fits you well, you can bring it in for Nathon to use as a reference, but it is not by any means required.
You may also want to wear clothes that fit you tightly. Loose fitting clothing can bunch up and distort measurements for your bespoke suit.
Dressing for the Final Fitting of a Wedding Suit
The final fitting is where you make sure your suit fits you perfectly.
If you are coming in for the final fitting of your custom-made suit, you once again don't have to wear something specific to the fitting. However, if you want to have a good idea of what it's going to feel wearing the suit for your wedding, consider wearing the shoes, shirt, and maybe the necktie or bow tie you plan to wear with the suit. That way, when you try on the suit and look in the mirror, you'll have a good idea of how you'll look on your wedding day.
Suits and Tuxedos Unique to Your Wedding
Nathon Kong takes the burden of planning and designing the groom's suit and brings unique art to your wedding. Each illustration that lines the inside of a suit is created in a therapeutic art class by people with mental health difficulties.
Every suit by Nathon Kong is an exclusive work of art.
We work closely with Les Impatients, the non-profit that organizes these workshops, to bring a story of mental health wellness to what you wear. 10% of our proceeds are donated to Les Impatient to support their work and raise awareness for mental wellness.
